Meet the Masters

Student artwork inspired by Matisse

Meet the Masters is PAUSD’s Elementary Art History Program. Volunteer docents are trained to give two part presentations. The first week the docent shares the artist’s biographical, historical and cultural information and a week later students create an art project inspired by the presentation. Meet the Masters presentations are given in the classroom at the request of the teacher. Training and scheduling are arranged by Art Education.
